About

Daniel Tishelman is a sound designer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work explores the intersection of sound, atmosphere, and storytelling. Born and raised in New York, he developed an early fascination with the city's ever-present sonic landscape—the rumble of subway trains, the resonance of underground tunnels, and the layered textures of urban life. These sounds, combined with a deep connection to New York's underground electronic and experimental music scene, helped shape his artistic approach to both sound design and composition, and continue to influence his exploration of unconventional textures, atmospheres, and sonic identities. He creates immersive sonic worlds across games, film, advertising, and interactive media by drawing in a relationship between sound, emotion, and narrative.
